As Term 4 is well underway, we wanted to share a timely reminder about the importance of school attendance.

We love seeing your child at school every day – it’s the best place for them to learn and grow. It’s a chance to be around their friends, learn new things (including life skills), spark their curiosity and have fun.

Did you know?

As part of our Collaborative Inquiry into attendance, we conducted a survey in Term 3 with some students whose attendance data sits within the following range 80-90%. The results gave us some insight into some of the reasons for non-attendance. One of the biggest barriers to attendance was found to be health reasons, which includes both physical health and mental wellbeing.
